27.01.2017 PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CANDIDATES FOR VOLUNTARY MILITARTY SERVICE WITH WEAPONS AND CANDIDATES FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE COURSE FOR SERBIAN ARMY RESERVE OFFICERS

for candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for the listeners of the course for reserve officers of the 
Army of Serbia

The right of registration of candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for participants course for reserve officers 

On the voluntary military service in the Army with weapons Serbia can apply candidates male and female, which in 2017 turning 19 to 30 years of age.

General terms:

To be a citizen of the Republic of Serbia;

it was not sentenced to a juvenile prison or unconditionally to imprisonment for a criminal offense (until the sentence has been served or been released on parole);

that no criminal proceedings for a criminal offense prosecuted ex officio;

that is medically fit for military service;

that he completed his military service with weapons and

to have a place of residence in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

Besides the general, a candidate for the listener course for reserve officers must meet thefollowing requirements:

- Finished studies

- That fulfills the requirements for recruits to be sent to special units of the Army of Serbia and

- have a positive security check.

2. Submission of the application and the required documents for registration of candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for the listeners of the course for reserve officers of the Army of Serbia

Notification of candidates submitted to the Ministry of Defence Center for Local Government, by place of residence.

The candidate who resides abroad the application can be submitted to the competent diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Serbia abroad.

The application form, the candidate receives in the center of the Defence Ministry for Local Government.

The candidate who applied for voluntary military service under arms, is obliged to fulfill the application form and attach:

photocopy of the diploma on completion of education (original document for inspection) and biography.

The candidate for the listener course for reserve officers attached to the application and the following evidence:

contract with the Ministry of Defense scholarship if he was a military scholarship and written consent to security clearance for placement in special units of the Army of Serbia

3. The selection of candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for listeners Course for reserve officers in the Army of Serbia

Determination of the final ranking list of candidates perform regional centers of the Ministry of Defense, on the proposal of the Ministry of Defense centers for local self-government, following the medical and other examinations and psychological testing of candidates in authorized military medical institutions.

The selection of the required number of candidates from the set of the final ranking list pots Commission regional centers of the Ministry of Defense, in accordance with the Plan guidance of candidates for voluntary military service with weapons of training centers and the Plan grip the listener course for reserve officers for a particular referral hands.

4. Conclusion of the contract

Selected candidates sign in a contract with the Defense Ministry, which regulates mutual rights and obligations, which must contain the beginning and end of the voluntary military srvice, living and working  conditions, incomes, conditions of termination of voluntary military service and compensation costs in the event of unjustified termination of voluntary service military service.

Any additional information may be obtained at the center of the Ministry of Defense for the local government in the place of residence, the competent diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Serbia abroad and on the website of the Ministry of Defense www.mod.gov.rs.

The advertisement for candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for the listeners of the cours for reserve officers of the Army of Serbia in 2017, is permanently open, a ranking of candidates will be made periodically in accordance with the deadlines advisable.

 

 


Meeting of Minister Dacic with Ambassador of Azerbaijan

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Serbia, Eldar Hasanov.

In the meeting, they discussed current issues related to bilateral cooperation and the prospects of its promotion. Particular attention was devoted to the continuation of regular dialogue at high and top levels, as well as to the promotion of economic relations. The officials assessed as positive the overall cooperation conducted in 2016.

The Serbian side underlined its gratitude to Azerbaijan for their principled position on the respect of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia. Both sides pointed to the necessity and common interest to fully engage in the context of further visa liberalization in the coming period, thus giving impetus to the promotion of trade and the development of tourism between the two countries.


Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports

We inform that the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports, signed in Riga on November 5, 2016, shall enter into force on January 15, 2017.

Starting from that date, the citizens of both countires, holders of ordinary passports are eligible for entry, transit and stay on the territory of the other Party without a visa, for a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of entry.
